Great news, folks - NZ First will not agree to any genetic-modifying, and will not do so until there are substantial safeguards in place.

Thank you, John Ansell, for the video record, and for sharing it with us.

Sunday, the 10th of August, Lower Hutt: NZ First Deputy Leader Shane Jones assures a cheering audience.

"New Zealand First will not be agreeing to any genetic-modified [organisms?] until such time as there are substantial safeguards …   “… so we do not let Frankenstein out into the environment, on the farm or into medicine. “That is what my leader has said. That is what we will deliver.”

Listen to the statement by Deputy Leader of NZ First, Shane Jones. The video was uploaded on Signal 11th August. Now, we must keep them honest.

Here is John's followup video, where Shane Jones confirms what he said:

Thank you Shane, Winston, and everyone within NZ First. Thank you again, John Ansell.

Now, let's hit home our opposition to GMO in New Zealand by backing NZ First. Join the party, be an active member, attend their meetings, influence policy from within. Do not let them wiggle off the hook.

Why would our government want to entrap NZ into a patented system of agriculture where only a few people make a lot of money—and that does not include the farmers and growers? They end up earning less and less as crops fail and patent holders demand more and more. Farmers go into debt. Big Agri and co now own a great deal of farmland in America and elsewhere.

I agree.

The last politburo, have sold us down the Swanny.

lets see what happens when the IMF or whoever they borrowed off to release the virus.

and then shoot through to a country that doesn't have an extradition treaty with NZ.

remember the wine box affair?

Winston Peters was the only one that stuck with that one.

and the party name says it NZ FIRST.

It's a wake up call kiwis.

Get the word out there .

I saw today that the Royal commission has had to pull the pin because certain people have declined to front up.

A person of integrity expects to be believed

if they aren't, they wait for time to prove them right.

the same…

I always thought NZ First would come through. However we still have the minister responsible for food safety, Andrew Hogaard setting up a deal with Australia to allow GMO modified food into NZ. It will not be a requirement to be on a label so you wont know. In his arrogant way he said the option is to be organic. With Australia having a free trade agreement with USA guess what we will get. You wont see to much about this in the media and sure he did it knowing the GMO bill would fail.

Hi Lindsay, love your reply. There are so many compromised people running the show these days. Some more relevant reading here: https://www.garymoller.com/post/a-freeranger-s-riposte-to-biohacking Keep up the good fight, Lindsay!

Indeed, they are the only party who seem to be listening to the people's concerns, and also have an understanding about health implications as well as trade.. Real Health equals real wealth. I suspect there are some in the NATs but too scared to speak against the narrative. A few also within Labour.

Anna, the leaders of NZ F know that we are now a large part of the party's members. This is evident in the applause from the audience as Shane Jones made the announcement.
