Another Life Forever Changed by the COVID mRNA Vaccine

Susan Gargiulo is an amazing, strong, and talented woman whose life was turned upside down by neurological injuries following the COVID mRNA vaccine. Along with many others with similar injuries, I am doing my best, in a small way, to help her recovery. Sadly, as you will gather, if you have been following my blog, her story is far from unique.
Despite what those in "high places" continue to claim — that there is "nothing to see here" and that a handful of injuries and deaths were acceptable collateral during a pandemic — the reality is very different. This is not how medicine or public health should ever operate, either ethically or legally. The first principle is simple: Do no harm.
By the time the virus reached New Zealand, its lethality was no worse — or even less — than seasonal influenza. The so-called "Long COVID" we hear so much about is, in many cases, simply a vaccine injury under another name. If you doubt that, then try to find well-documented cases of "Long COVID" in people who were never vaccinated.
We must not lose our sense of compassion, nor our humanity. We must care for those who trusted and obeyed — those who followed government orders, health officials' advice, and the direction of health professionals who, sadly, too often acted without question — just mindlessly following orders from the powers that be. People like Susan deserve our care, our advocacy, and our voices.
