The healing journey with hair analysis

"Start low - go slow!"

When you complete the hair tissue mineral analysis (HTMA) and consultation with me to identify the root causes of poor health, you may suffer an additional ailment called "information overload"! This is a normal reaction, but one we must respond to. The lifestyle and dietary changes being asked of you, and the daily supplements may overwhelm, if you try to do everything at once.

The first points to make is you don't have to do everything at once and take your time. Start with what you know you can do, give it several weeks to settle in, then add a little more. Restoring good health is your Olympic Quest: think of it in terms of years, rather than weeks and months. It is a long and difficult journey, there will always be setbacks along the way. It is your Journey of a Thousand Miles. Start low and go slow. Take your time. Do not look too far ahead.

Concentrate on the next step, then the next, then the next. Backtrack a little if the path turns not to be the best one. Our destination is excellent health, and there are many paths that lead to this destination. Our challenge is to select the best one for you.

Take a break of three to four days if you feel you are reacting to anything you are taking and seek my advice. It is possible that we have triggered a detoxification. For example, if your liver is sluggish because of poor thyroid or adrenal function, or struggling with processing toxic substances such as medications, caffeine and alcohol, anything that even slightly up-regulates the liver may cause unpleasant symptoms such as headaches and nausea. Please read this article so you are prepared. Just in case!

Our usual response, after a brief break to settle things down, is to restart what you were taking but on a lower dose, and take it from there. We are in no hurry.

Please read this carefully to understand the consultation process with me:
