Here is a video from my friend, Rob Hamill, to break up all of the doom and gloom. Now, aren't they having the life! We are envious. Rob's family reminds me of just how out of touch with Mother Nature we have become. It highlights, as well, what our children are missing out on in this toxic, "be safe at all costs" environment that threatens to suffocate them and the rest of humanity, for that matter.
Well, in honour of the adventurous Hamill family, despite living smack in the middle of Wellington City, I'm off for a refreshing trot over the trails that lace their way through the regenerating native bush.
