Here's a Letter to Politicians!

Updated: Apr 6

writing a letter

Below is a rehash of a letter to politicians written by Keri Molloy. I liked what Keri wrote, so I thought I'd rewrite it to be applicable for sending to most politicians and political parties.

Please rewrite this letter to reflect your views and send it to your political representatives and any hopefuls. The more they receive messages like these, the more likely they will wake up and realise these are essential election issues worthy of attention.

Dear [Politician's Name] or [Political Party's Name],

I hope this message finds you well. I recently came across a letter written by Keri Molloy, and I found her words to be thought-provoking and inspiring.

With a desire to express my views and engage in essential election issues, I have taken the liberty to adapt the letter to reflect my perspective. It is crucial to share these concerns with you, other political representatives, and aspiring candidates to foster greater attention towards these matters.

Firstly, if you and your party commit to refrain from signing New Zealand up to the WHO international treaty and the international health amendments proposed by the WHO, you will get my vote. You will get my vote because a commitment not to sign this treaty demonstrates a willingness to prioritise national sovereignty and autonomy. Therefore, your and your party's stance on this treaty will significantly impact my decision on who I vote for.

Additionally, it would be instrumental if you promised the government would cease hounding and cancelling individuals who hold dissenting views by manipulating mainstream media and the "disinformation project." Respecting diverse opinions and fostering an environment of open dialogue is crucial in any democratic society, and such a shift in approach would be encouraging.

Further, you will get my vote if there is a commitment to fostering free and open debate among opposing views on the science and ethics of the day's pressing issues, including pandemic response preparation, international treaties, GE therapies, gender identity, food and energy security and climate change.

Furthermore, supporting a wide-ranging and independent inquiry into the COVID response with the authority to prosecute and compensate would be a significant step towards restoring harmony and trust.

If the government took appropriate measures to treat and compensate those harmed by the vaccine, it would demonstrate a genuine commitment to accountability and public welfare.

Further, I will support the party that promises to compensate and re-employ workers mandated out of their jobs.

Addressing these pressing issues is vital for the well-being and progress of our society. Therefore, as a constituent and concerned citizen, I implore you to consider these matters seriously and incorporate them into your political agenda.

Moreover, I encourage you to engage in meaningful dialogue with the public, allowing us to voice our concerns, suggestions, and aspirations. By actively listening to your constituents, you can better understand our needs and work towards solutions that benefit us all.

I understand that being a politician is a challenging task, requiring dedication and perseverance. Nevertheless, by prioritising these crucial election issues, you can demonstrate your commitment to representing our interests and making a positive difference in our community.

Please carefully consider the points raised in this letter and take action accordingly. Your role as a political representative carries immense responsibility, and your decisions can shape our society's future. Addressing these essential election issues can contribute to a better future for all.

Thank you for your attention and dedication to public service. Please actively engage with these matters and advocate for progress and positive change.

Yours sincerely,

[Your Name]
