Please note that she cautions about smoothies and she is right to do so. My smoothie recipe which you can find here is typically low in refined carbohydrates, but it finally does depend on what you choose to put into it. It is worth noting that blackcurrant, including freeze-dried powder, but excluding processed juice, is low in sugar.
