Important Announcement About HTMA and Consultation Services

After more than a decade of keeping our prices steady — through inflation, uncertainty, and a global pandemic — it's time for a necessary and significant shift.


We've updated the pricing for our HTMA reports and consultation services, and these will take effect by Monday afternoon. This isn't a decision we've taken lightly. Like many of you, Alofa and I are feeling the squeeze of rising costs. Couriers, supplies, printing, IT — you name it, it's all gone up — everything. We've absorbed these increases for as long as possible, but to keep delivering the level of care you expect (and that I demand of myself), an update is now essential.


I've also accepted something else: I've been undercharging for years and far too generous with my time, thus risking letting people down. I'm currently working seven days a week, from dawn to dusk. I'm also trying to get some serious sports training in. It is unsustainable. I must be mindful of the toll this takes, and of the tireless work my partner, Alofa, does behind the scenes. She's in her 60's now, and deserves a break here and there, too.


It's simply unrealistic to try to be a two-person health system for all. The most obvious and necessary solution is to focus on fewer people, while striving to provide the best service possible for them. That's the path forward.


Our website store will undergo exciting changes and additions in the next week or two. These updates will be fully implemented during this time. We appreciate your patience while we make these changes and additions.


What This Means for You

With these changes, I can put more time and attention into each person and each report.


  • You'll receive the same high-quality, in-depth HTMA reports, now with upgraded dietary and supplement guidance using real foods and locally available products.

  • Reports are more personalised than ever, using your unique biochemistry and health goals to guide every recommendation.

  • I'll be better able to serve each of you with full focus, while preserving my own energy for the long haul (I'm in my 70s now, but retirement is not on the cards yet!).

  • Turnaround times and communication will be sharper, faster, and more consistent.

We also have something exciting coming soon — the launch of the Freerangers Movement. This project is close to my heart. Its goal is nothing less than restoring New Zealand to being the best place in the world to live and raise a family. It's my personal response to the frustrating and steep decline in nearly every measure of health and happiness in this country since around 1980. We're about a month away from launching, and we couldn't be more excited to share it with you. Stay tuned — this is just the beginning.
