We address the root causes of poor health and not just the symptoms
Getting to the "ROOT CAUSES" of ill health or poor performance and dealing with them with healthy, natural and sustainable therapies is our mission.
Gary's academic training through the University of Otago and Medical School is in the following fields:
Sports Medicine (post-graduate diploma - allied medical).
Physical Education (exercise physiology, biomechanics, coaching theory).
Rehabilitation (post-graduate diploma - allied medical).
In addition, he has numerous industry qualifications in human nutrition and the practice of using nutrition as medicine.
Now in his mid-60's Gary has been in full-time practice as a health professional for more than 40 years. His depth and breadth of knowledge of health, fitness and injury problems and how to deal with them is second to none.
Most people over the age of 50 and an increasing number of younger people are on one or medications for chronic health issues. Gary is skilled at how to introduce nutrition and lifestyle-based therapies alongside pharmaceutical medicines. Done well, good health is eventually regained and the NEED for medication is either gradually reduced or done away with completely.
Gary is a specialist practitioner in the use of the Interclinical Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA). This HTMA is arguably the most useful forensic tool for:
Identifying the root causes of ill-health, injuries that fail to heal properly and poor performance.
Determining a person's nutrient status.
Identifying any exposures to toxic elements such as mercury, lead and arsenic.
Guiding nutrition and lifestyle-based therapies.
His main work nowadays is operating Interclinical Laboratories (NZ), including the training and mentoring of health professionals in the application of the HTMA in the clinic.
With the assistance of his partner in life, Alofa Kosena,Gary runs a small, private clinic in Wellington and is available for consultations either in person or by video link such as with Skype or Zoom.
Gary is more than Walking the Talk
Gary shows that nutritional medicine works brilliantly when done well. It is the key to healthy ageing
He is the current UCI Masters (65-70 years) Mountain Biking Cross-country World Champion.
Gary is on a mission to prove that he is one of the fittest over 60-year-olds in the world, if not Number One. His chosen sport is Mountain Biking because it thoroughly tests to the limits common measures of fitness that decline with age: strength, power, stamina, flexibility, balance, reactions, eyesight and the ability to make very quick decisions - and the frequent ability to heal! It is a rough-and-tumble sport that is not for the faint-hearted.
Since turning 60 in 2013, Gary has had an impressive winning streak in age group mountain biking and cyclocross races in New Zealand and Australia, setting new age group records for every race he has entered.
Recent significant sporting achievements include:
2017 World Masters Games 60-plus mountain bike champion.
2017 UCI Masters (60-65 years) Mountain Bike World Championships silver medalist.
Gary has always been an accomplished athlete, with a competitive career beginning at 14 years of age. He is the older brother of Lorraine Moller, four times Olympian, Olympic bronze medalist.
Teaming up with his two brothers, Gordon and Bruce, they have proven tough competitors in multi-sports racing. In 2011 they became the Australasian veterans multi-sports team champions, finishing 4th overall in the open grade.
Here is what Nutrisearch Ltd. had to say:

Over this course of time, he has seen and treated several hundred patients with Dr Wilson’s protocol and achieved outstanding success. (Nutrisearch is one of the largest suppliers of professional training, products and services to health professionals in New Zealand and Australia).
