Special Benefits
Kordels Agewise MSM is a naturally occurring compound of bio-available sulphur found in the tissues and fluids of humans and all living plants and animals.
MSM levels in the body decline with age, resulting in symptoms of fatigue, tissue and organ malfunction and increased susceptibility to disease.
Sulphur is one of the principal elements found in the body along with carbon, nitrogen, oxygen and hydrogen.
Methysulfonylmethane is required for proper assimilation of the sulphur amino acids methionine and cysteine, and is required in the molecular structure of many proteins, catalysts and enzymes in the body. MSM is found in major structural molecules of the body such as cartilage. The sulphur from MSM is used to produce glycosaminoglycans (or mucopolysaccaharides) such as chondroitin sulphate, dermatan sulphate and hyaluronic acid. These sulphur containing glycosaminoglycans are found in high concentrations in connective tissue, including joint cartilage, skin and collagen.
