For soft, brittle or splitting nails. Promotes healthy hair, skin and bones and may also assist in the healing of cracked skin, wounds and ligaments.
Horsetail (Equisetum arvense)... The stem of the Horsetail herb contains 5 to 8% silicic acid, of which a proportion is in the organic form and can be absorbed.
Because of its silica content which is involved in bone and connective tissue repair, and has a diuretic effect, Horsetail has proved helpful in treating rheumatism.
Horsetail facilitates the absorption of Calcium by the body an effect that nourishes nails, skin, hair, bones and the body’s connective tissue. The silica content also has a positive effect on lipid metabolism and helping to manage excessive oily skin and hair and is believed to make individual hair strands stronger, thicker and more resilient.1
Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride)... is an essential B complex vitamin with many actions including protein synthesis, carbohydrate and fat metabolism as well as acting as a natural diuretic. It plays a role in many specific enzyme reactions including the conversion of essential fatty acids to prostaglandins and is needed for proper growth and maintenance of almost all body structures.
Zinc... improves the healing rate of wounds, it can benefit acne and is well recognised as being involved in hair growth.3
Manganese required for normal growth and development, and for the repair of bones and connective tissue.2
